The APA Foundation is home to the permanent historical collection of the American Psychiatric Association. APAF's library and archives holds an array of historically significant assets dating back to the 15th century, detailing the history of the profession of psychiatry, the creation and advancement of the APA, and the key figures that have shaped the field.
Throughout 2022, APAF focused its efforts to support providers who work tirelessly day-in and day-out to provide quality care and advance research so that patients and their families can pursue treatment and recovery. To see the Foundation’s 2022 impact, download our 2022 Impact Report.
