Notice.Talk.Act.™ at School - An Overview:
Mental health concerns in students are real, may be painful and, if left untreated, can have serious, life changing consequences. Early recognition, intervention and treatment of mental health concerns make a positive and lasting difference in an adolescent's life.
For more than 10 years the Typical or Troubled?® School Mental Health Education Program equipped teachers, coaches and school personnel with the knowledge needed to recognize the warning signs of mental health concerns and what course of action to take in addressing potential issues.
From 2017 - 2019 we spent our time redeveloping our curriculum and delivery model, pilot testing the new Notice.Talk.Act.™ at School program in 2019.
The Notice.Talk.Act.™ at School program trains educational staff to:
- NOTICE Warning Signs
- TALK About Mental Health
- ACT Appropriately in Referring Students to Resources
The Notice.Talk.Act.™ at School Program Components:
- E-Learning Module (30-40 mins)
- Classroom Module Designed to be Tailor to your School
- Online Assessments
- 18-months of Learning with New Courses based on your Schools Assessments
The Classroom Portion of the program can be brought to your local school community through our train-the-trainer model. If your school district needs additional support and guidance, we can offer a tailored delivery plan.
