    Inaugural JPLI Leadership Summit

    For more than 10 years, the Judges Psychiatrist Leadership Initiative (JPLI) has brought together experts in the field of mental health and criminal justice to address the overcriminalization of people who enter the justice system.

    Please join us on May 12 at 8:00 p.m. for an evening celebrating judicial and psychiatric leadership to improve outcomes for people with behavioral health needs. The summit will include the presentation of the Judge Stephen S. Goss Memorial Award for leadership by a judge and a psychiatrist. It will also feature a candid discussion about competency to stand trial based on the recently released report Just and Well: How States Are Rethinking Competency to Stand Trial.
