APAF Partners with Voices with Impact and Filmmakers Telling Stories of Black and Immigrant Mental Health


The APAF is pleased to be partnering with Art With Impact as a sponsor of their 3rd annual short film competition focused on destigmatizing mental health.

Voices With Impact features filmmakers from across the world who submit proposals to tell unique stories about underrepresented narratives; the 2021 focus is on Black and Immigrant mental health.

Meet the filmmakers who have been selected as the 10 winners in the Voices with Impact 2021 competition. Each will each receive $5,000 to create their short films, which will premiere on June 21, 2021.
