Society in Crisis: How Philanthropy Can Change Narratives and Bridge Divides.
 
In our increasingly polarized society, key issues like health care, retirement, immigration, jobs, and education (to name a few) are at risk. At a time when politics seem to only foster uncertainty, fear, and divisiveness throughout our nation, corporations and nonprofits have the opportunity – and even the responsibility – to bring people together in a way that will drive change and move society forward.
This panel of nonprofit, foundation, and corporate leaders will discuss the important role philanthropy plays in bridging divides and advancing society through their own, first-hand experience. We will explore the responsibility of both the nonprofit and the corporation, the inherent obstacles and challenges, and innovative solutions to achieve the seemingly impossible. The event features:
